  • Vogelmorn Bowling Club
    The Vogelmorn Bowling Club building holds an on-licence. Our bar, Vogelmorn Upstairs is open Thursday to Saturday, 3.00pm - 10.00pm. Vogelmorn Upstairs offers staffed packages for private functions, evening gigs, and events during on-licence hours.

    Private event hire
    If you want to consume alcohol at a private event, please contact us before booking. We'll carry out a risk assessment to decide whether the hall is suitable. As part of this process, we may ask you to provide a Host Responsibility Plan outlining how you'll keep guests safe and prevent intoxication.

    Public event hire
    If you want to serve alcohol at a public event, please contact us before booking. We'll carry out a risk assessment to decide whether the hall is suitable. If your event is approved, you'll need to apply for a special licence from Wellington City Council.

  • Vogelmorn operates adjacent to a residential zoned area. To respect our neighbours and comply with Wellington City Council noise rules, music and amplified sound must cease by 9.45pm.

    All events must finish by 10:00pm sharp.

    People should leave quietly, and all pack-down, cleaning, and loading of equipment must be carried out with minimal noise.  Shouting, slamming car doors, and noisy pack-down can easily exceed the night-time limits.
