About the artists:
Cordelia’s
Cordelia’s is an indie-folk trio (with a hint of feminine rage) serenading from the heart of Pōneke! Thematically, Cordelia’s explores the feminine gaze, patriarchy, queerness in light of societal norms, and navigates heartache and identity. As versatile musicians, the trio plays guitar, piano, cajon, and hand-held percussion with vocal harmonies to form a laid-back and enticing acoustic sound. Lauren, Tia, and Brianna are long-time friends and enjoy composing and performing their original music, and having a boogie with the crowd!
Zoe Scott
Fresh to Te Whanganui-a-tara, after a stint of the transient troubadour lifestyle, Zoe Scott is a songwriter that you really shouldn't miss. Her ability to weave vulnerable stories of love, loss and female rage continue to captivate audiences when paired with her powerful, yet effortless voice. With a fresh set, you can expect to be left in a puddle of tears or cursing the patriarchy.
Pony Grove
Pony Grove is an acoustic folk-groove duo influenced by the jam-band scene who thrive on musical conversation and exploration. Harry on acoustic guitar and Trixie on upright bass, along with their harmonizing vocals, use improvisation to breathe new energy into their songs, and in collaboration with the audience, create a unique experience every show. They aim to inspire connection through the art of the jam and create inclusive spaces where everyone can come together to celebrate creativity and self-expression.
