DIRT #18 Making more from what we have

DIRT (Disaster Innovation Research and Teaching) is your community resilience group and we meet regularly to get our neighbourhood better prepared for a significant earthquake, extreme weather, or other disaster scenario.

In DIRT #18 we'll look at how to get more from the resources around us when times are challenging. Whether it’s harnessing the energy and capabilities of your neighbours, discovering things you have in your home that can will incredibly useful in an emergency or seeing how to make food from what you have when there’s no water, gas or electricity.  Come and learn in a relaxed and fun way to help make yourself and our community better prepared to handle disruptive events.
