For the Blue - Documentary Screening

‘For The Blue’ was created and funded by Project Blue - a group of young ocean loving Kiwis. It details how plastic pollution is damaging our environment, how we contribute to this problem here in Aotearoa, and the real world solutions happening to fix it.

This film takes you on the three year journey of the Project Blue team. They have documented the plastic crisis in places like Hawaii, Malaysia, and at home here in New Zealand to understand the consequences of our consumption and what happens when plastic waste ends up in the environment.

Project Blue speaks to people who are leading the plastic free movement while documenting how we can all be part of the solution rather than the problem.

Their goal for this documentary is to inspire the next generation of change makers to think big about the issues we face and take action to solve them.
