Chase away the mid-winter blues with an evening of Irish music and dance. Hosted in association with the Wellington and Hutt Valley Irish Societies, the event will raise funds to support Ciara Jo Hanlon, Aotearoa New Zealand’s representative at the International Rose of Tralee Festival in County Kerry, Ireland. Held each August, the festival is one of Ireland’s largest and longest-running events, celebrating women of Irish heritage from across the globe.

The céilí will feature:
• Live music from Wellington’s own Great Beag Céilí Band
• A special performance by young local Irish dancers
• A hearty bowl of Irish stew (meat and vegan options, included)
• A pop-up bar by Te Aro Brewing Company
• A raffle
