Trailhead is a 4 piece rock band from Wellington bringing a dynamic perspective on alternative rock. Assembled by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Peter Walmsely, the band consists of lead guitar player Edmund Capie, bass player Cormac Wodd, and drummer Gryffin Jones. After meeting in Wellington College, the band found a shared love of indie rock bands like The Strokes and Two Door Cinema Club that inspires the high energy rhythm section and lead guitar melodies of the band. Shoegaze inspirations have brought big fuzzy guitar tones and emotional vocals into the mix forming the band's signature spin on alternative rock. After having played at Rockquest 2025 and several school events while writing music, the band is now moving to booking gigs for 2026.

Haze is a four-piece student band from Wellington High School. They primarily play pop-rock with inspiration from bands such as Oasis and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. They have performed at various events, playing a mix of covers and original songs and bringing a high energy atmosphere to the stage.
